Petraska,

Dany has been with
Publishing Resources
since 2000 and
coordinates in-house
talent on several
client projects.
She creates and
designs web pages,
writes and edits
copy, does print
layout, and in
general is kept
very busy with
production. After
earning a bachelor’s
degree in journalism
from California
State University,
Fresno, she worked
as a senior publicist
for the largest
independent videogame
developer, located
in Redwood City,
CA, and later as
the director of
communications
for a not-for-profit
association headquartered
in Alexandria,
VA. The association
did not have a
website at the
time, and to keep
within the tight
budget of a not-for-profit
she took the initiative
to learn to build
a website herself.
The rest is history.
Dany has recently
taken up archery
(both compound
and recurve) and
hopes to someday
compete locally
in target shooting.
And though she
spent most of her
life glad to be
able to call a
landlord when something
broke, she and
her husband are
currently building
their own timber-frame
home that will
run solely on wind,
solar, and microhydro
power.
